Roma’s guitar solo is my favourite Wild Talk solo to play and may actually be my favourite guitar solo i’ve written for any song. Not only is it melodic while keeping my overstimulated shred spice, but it feels very much like an extension of myself. I (along with most guitar players) grew up with the habit of trying to replicate my idols, dedicating hours to learning their stuff note for note and feel for feel as they do. This one felt like i wasnt trying to mimick or replicate tricks i’d learned from my heroes. This first oassage of the solo just flowed out sitting on the bed of my first flat so well, fitting the song perfectly and coming so spontaneously and naturally. Anyways, here’s my trying not to fall off hammersmith bridge trying to lip sync to it
