Not all color correcting bases are created equal. In the case of the new @e.l.f. Cosmetics putty eye brightener it’s all about how balmy and emollient (hydrating) the color correction is while delivery a melting veil of color under the eyes. I am modeling the difference between their fair pink tone and their light to medium peachy tone to showcase how they deliver different effects simply due to their shade. I want you to consider that if these had a higher coverage level they would not necessarily work in this way. I would even use them solo on more low makeup days. The pink is absolutely doubt more brightening, whereas our peach is doing more neutralizing of the purple. What do you think? Which side do you prefer? Have you tried them?
