The Oracle of Delphi 🏛️🏺🌿 The High Priestess of Apollo, Pythia, who I named my drag character after, held immense political power and was among the most powerful women in the classical greek world. This is me at the exact place in Delphi, the blessed land of the god Apollo, Pythia’s sanctuary where she would channel her prophecies. Being here in drag and walking the exact same grounds as she did thousands of years ago, was so cool and just so emotional. I have no words of how incredible it felt. Naming myself after her was a way to reconnect with my roots as an immigrant after a lot self hatred. This is a huge achievement for me. 💕
